Hello, you faithful 10 of you. Thanks for keeping up with me as I tried to keep up with myself. Since January I've tried to be faithful to the 3-posts-a-week goal, and for awhile there it was really working. Then it became kind of a chore, then kind of a stressor, then kind of a nuisance. I'm of the belief that you should love what you're doing - especially if you're not getting paid for it - so I'm moving back to the when/what I can format for at least the summer. It's also not as though I don't have enough on my plate until September:
In the meantime, I've finally hit 30 "likes" on Facebook (thanks, mom and dad), but would love to see that number get higher, even as FB Stock plummets. Use the link at the top right of my blog to join that party. I keep FB open, so I might even be posting mini-reviews, articles, and tidbits of interest while I'm not blogging or researching all-natural cookie recipes and certified kitchens in the DC-area for cheap rent.
Just so it's clear - this isn't good bye. Just a leisurely Enjoy Your Summer! Because I'm definitely going to. :)
TSI at Folger (4 weeks of corralling teachers and attending super awesome lectures and discussions - so you know there's that to look forward to here in July!)Have no fear! Two new books on my Kindle that'll be reviewed sometime in the next couple of weeks - some movies and tv shows I'm sure I can talk about when it's slow at the office - and <drum roll> more opportunities for guest posts! If you've read or watched something based on a Shakespeare play or poem and want to share it, I'm happy to look it over and post it appropriately.
BFF from DE getting married in August, and I'm a bridesmaid (! YAY! So much love!)
Training for a 5K (What? CGriff? Running? I KNOW! But MelHmel kept posting about this Color Run and it looks like the most fun reason to get/stay in shape EVER!)
Baking and Crafting (I miss doing this SO MUCH. Pinterest has rekindled my love for both - and also inspired me to go more all-natural in my cleaning products! - so I'm going to spend some "me" time with my personal projects.)
